Here we are at our second edition of Birdi’s Product Updates!

We’ve been working on a range of features, improvements, and getting ready for our self-serve launch in the near future (Join our Waitlist for Free and Team if you haven’t already! Waitlist members will also receive exclusive discounts when we launch as well… more on that closer to the big day).

Sharable mission links with expiry date & permissions

Birdi share a mission

We’ve always had the ability to create a sharable link and send it to others, however anyone with the link could access and edit the mission. We’ve updated this feature so that now you can:

  • Set an expiry date that the user will be able to access the mission until (1, 7 or 30 days)
  • Set whether the user you’re sharing the mission with has view-only or edit access

Check out our help article on sharing a mission here.

Create multiple mission objectives

Birdi objectives

We’ve now rolled out the ability for all platform users to be able to add mission objectives. You can now create and manage multiple mission objectives within a single private mission (for example you might have a mapping objective as well as a custom objective to capture video of the site for general oversight.

What’s more, image uploads can now be filtered by objective, making it much easier for you to manage large amounts of drone data.
