ISO 9001 — Quality Management
Birdi is certified to ISO 9001, the international standard for quality management systems. This certification confirms that we have consistent, documented processes in place across how we design, build, and support the Birdi platform — and that we continuously monitor and improve them.
In practice, this means:

ISO 27001 — Information Security Management
Birdi is certified to ISO 27001, the international standard for information security management systems (ISMS). This certification confirms that we have a formal, audited framework for identifying, managing, and reducing risks to the data our customers trust us with.

- Documented policies and controls covering data access, encryption, incident response, and vendor management
- Regular risk assessments and independent audits of our security posture
- A named information security management framework that governs how the whole team — not just engineering — handles data

What this means for your team

Data protection and privacy
How we collect, use, and protect personal information is covered in full in our Privacy Policy. In short: we collect only what we need to run the platform and support your team, we don't sell your data, and where information is transferred or stored outside Australia we take steps to protect it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
