Welcome to our first edition of Birdi's Product Updates! We'll be sharing key releases and new features through our product updates emails and here on the blog (if you haven't already, now's a great time to subscribe!). Otherwise read on for our latest product updates to make your use of Birdi better than ever.

1. Multiple mission objectives

We’ve been working hard to simplify the mission capture process, and we’re excited to bring you multiple mission objectives!

Up until now, each capture objective has needed its own individual mission created in Birdi. For example, you might have one site with 2 capture objectives: an entire site capture with specific capture requirements, and a sub-section of the site that needs capturing with different requirements. Instead of having two separate missions created, the multiple mission objectives feature now means you can have each of these different objectives within a single mission.

Not only will this streamline the mission capture process, it gives you greater visibility over each capture request, making each mission much easier to plan and fly.

What’s more, instead of having all drone-captured data uploaded into a single bucket within a mission, you’ll now be able to seamlessly upload data to each objective. You can do this either directly from your own device, or using one of our new integrations with Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive.

2. In-Platform chat

Birdi's in-platform chat

It's never fun being stuck whilst using a product. As such, Birdi now has chat directly within the platform itself, which means we’re just a message away if you have any issues in the platform. Feel free to shoot us a message and we’ll be there to troubleshoot with you.

3. Knowledge Base

Birdi's knowledge base

What's more, we want you to feel empowered to help yourself! We've kicked off our Knowledge Base, full of articles to help you best use the platform. We'll continue to build this out, and make sure we have lots of articles to help solve your most pressing usage needs.

That's a wrap for our first Product Updates edition. Stay tuned for our next one!
