We’re a SaaS startup based in Australia and we’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated Account Executive to join our sales team and drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. You’ll get to work with a fun and supportive, fully remote team who are excited about creating a great product for our customers.
What you will do
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to identify and target potential B2B customers and large-scale enterprises. Execute sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and closing sales deals.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs, provide excellent customer service, and ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with customers to identify their data processing and visualisation requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Product Expertise: Become a product expert of the Birdi platform, and develop expertise in the drone tech space so you can provide ideal solutions to users. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position Birdi's products and services as a market leader.
- Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, showcasing the value and benefits of the Birdi platform. Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and answer customer questions or concerns.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by tracking and documenting all sales activities in our CRM software (Hubspot), such as leads, opportunities, and sales activities. Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular sales reports to management.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer onboarding. Provide feedback to internal teams on customer requirements and market trends to drive product development and improve customer satisfaction.
Your background/experience
- Minimum 2+ years of proven sales experience in SaaS technology sales, preferably in the drone technology or related industry.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, including prospecting, lead qualification, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools for pipeline management.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is preferred.
